James Thomas is the Managing Partner of Thomas Maritime and Ithaca Marine. He is also Chairman of the Board of Stamford Health, an $900 million health-care system. He was the co-founder and a partner at Thomas McNerney & Partners, a health care focused private equity firm that invested in biotech, medical devices, and diagnostics in that sector. Prior to that, James was a partner at Warburg Pincus and a Vice President at Goldman Sachs. James attended the University of Pennsylvania and earned his Master’s of Economics at the London School of Economics.
Vassilis Dalacouras has been the Chief Executive Officer of Dalex since 2008, leading the company with a focus on innovation and excellence in the maritime industry. With extensive executive experience in corporate and commercial management, he has built a remarkable reputation in the sector. Vassilis is a member of the Board of Directors of various shipping entities and the Standard P&I Club, contributing his expertise to these organizations. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Malta International Shipowners Association. Vassilis holds an MSc in Shipping, Trade & Finance from City University of London and a BA in Economics from McGill University.
